40/10 vs 40/2

This question has probably been asked before but I can't find the answer ... I have seen lots of people talking about how they had a 40/10 connection before the 80/20 upgrade. How come I only had 40/2? I wasn't given any choice when I signed up so how did people get themselves on the faster upload option? I want to know your trick! To be honest, the only reason I'm bothering with the 80/20 trial now is to improve that 2 Mb upload speed!

The higher upload speed was given to those on the original fibre trial before we launched our fibre products.

Aha - makes sense! Ah well then... maybe now that I am on the 80/20 trial I will also be able to gloat when others sign up to an 80/4 service.
