Speedtest.net also seem to use Oookla.

They will have probably put in a pre-jumpered tie cable from new to old box, so all work will be done in the old box.
The engineer that did my install said that there was only a 200 pair cable installed here, which would handle 100 houses...

Doing a tracert speed.io seems to be in Germany.
7044 is high for my line - I have my VPN connection up.
I usually find the Maidenhead server for speedtest.net to be the most reliable.
