Firstly, are you planning to sign up to an ADSL account? If you do then you'll automatically get assigned a static IP addy.

Are you planning to transfer a domain name or specify a new one? you will get a domain name of www.username.plus.com when you signup to and ADSL account anyway.

Yes to all your questions.

You only get Static IPs with plusnet.

Any domain you create or transfer in or host on your account can be pointed to your IP address. You also have 3 sub-domains that can point to various places: www.domain.co.uk, cgi.domain.co.uk and just domain.co.uk and any one (ar all) can point to your IP, www.username.plus.com (your homepages webspace) or cgi.username.plus.com (your CGI webspace) on which you have 250MBytes to play with.
