I've just registered for Broadband Plus at £14.99 on the Annual Contract with No Hardware. So the only charge would be £14.99.
I'm progressing through the sign up process and I've just received an email saying that I'll be charged £15.99! The only charge I was told about was the £14.99 charge taken for the month at activation time, not £1 extra.

What is this £1 extra for? I have checked my account and can't find any "extras" involved.

I have also raised a ticket, but it'll be over 9 hours before I get a response back according to the time in the auto-generated email. Thats why I've posted on here.

Thanks for any help,
Nathan

Could be an included domain name. I think that this installs itself by default and you have to opt out - you must have missed the small print :-)

I'm sure that when you raise a ticket they will remove it for you - assuming you don't want one.

Also you should be aware that the T&C for Broadband Plus seem to change on an almost daily basis, which has been the cause of numerous complaints recently. Unless you're planning on downloading Gb's of porn at about 0.5 kps you might find that the pay as you go account offers better value.

Thanks for the headsup calara, I've been watching these forums closly for months now, as well as others, and thought as Free-Online is the best price for what I want, I'd sign up and give it a go. I did have one of the Premier accounts where I used to live, but I'm going for the Plus one now as it meets my needs better. If it doesn't work out, I'll spend my money elsewhere Smiley
