After the 12 month contract.....

It states on the plusnet site that after the 12 month contract unless notified otherwise the contract will automatically be renewed. Is this for another 12 months or on a monthly basis?

After the 12 month contract.....

Should be monthly unless you paid for the year in advance initially then its renewed as a year upfront again.

After the 12 month contract.....

Your contract period does not change and remains exactly the same when renewed.

However things are not exactly the same if your on Easystart where the £99 cancellation fee no longer applies (but this was a monthly contract product anyway which a minimum contract length).

Also depending on your product you can still cancel by giving 30 days notice if you have already completed 12 months(some require a £14.99 cancellation fee to be paid). So while it is still stated as an annual contract, termination is the same as if you were on a monthly contract.

As it depends on what product you have, the best way to find out your options is to raise a contact us ticket and ask the same question and also ask what cancellation period and costs are.
