ticket 174299927

Applied for FTTP trial and got date for engineer but now wont be able to be here for the date sent out.

 

have sent message and phoned up but no reply yet about a new date, just dont want it to be too late to change, can someone on here help please

The appointment we've booked is just provisional and looks like further work is needed before our suppliers can commit to an appointment date. When we do receive confirmation, we'll delay the appointment if it's not already delayed.

No problems.

I've contacted our suppliers today and they've advised that it doesn't look like a survey has been carried out yet.

They're chasing this up and we should know more next week.

Finally openreach engineer out this morning and using overhead cable through attic now set up.

 

can someone tell me what the process is no with regard to my accoutn and old connection etc?

Glad to hear your FTTP order has completed.

Your previous broadband connection should be ceased automatically within 24 hours.

I've changed your account type appropriately now. If you reboot your router you should see much higher speeds. Smiley

Great success! Whilst testing your line earlier I noticed there's a potential capacity issue at the exchange with extra infrastructure estimated to be added early September.

This may cause speed issues especially at peak times. If there's noticeable issues let us know and we'll see if anything can be done sooner to alleviate the problem.

It has been very up and down here from 45-75. What you say capacity issue how slow are we talking?
