Upgrade to 70 mbps

I'm on the FTTP trial and wanted to upgrade from 40 to 70 mbps and cancel my phone line. Super impressed with it so far.

I phoned up customer services on Friday who were super helpful at finding out the information and said the upgrade should be around 24 hours and that someone would phone about canceling the line.


From testing using the BT openreach through a wired connection the speed still seems to be the same and no one has contacted me about the landline cancellation. I've tried rebooting the router a few times


Just wondered if anyone on here could help?

An upgrade of that sort would take place in the early hours of the next business day (not 24 hours) so should happen tomorrow.
I must have been really bad in a previous life as this was my 3rd ISP in a row that used lithium.
Now you're stuck with me because my new ISP doesn't run a forum Cheesy
