Hello please can my profile be reset? would be great if it could b e raised beyond 80/20?

It tests fine at the moment. Are you getting these speeds on a wired or wireless connection?

Thanks Matty its was wired, power cycled all the devices works ok today. maxing @ 64M it has been better though?

What gateway are you on?  Check at http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway/.
I have issues with streaming when connected to the BNG gateways but not the AG gateways. On BNG I was also seeing a drop in the download speed into the mid 60's too.

Sometimes the gateway which your router connects to, causes speed issues as the path varies from your premises to each gateway. It is always worth knowing which gateway you are on and if you see speed related issues, it can be worthwhile using the router to disconnect and then connect to see if a new gateway solves it. Your power cycle did that for you.
To see the number of users on each gateway for the last 24 hours look at  http://portal.plus.net/support/service/network_performance/broadband_bandwidth_usage.shtml towards the bottom of the page.
So I guess it is just having that information to hand as it can help Plusnet identify issues if lots of people all complain about the loss of speed on the same gateway. For you, looking for patterns in the long term use so that when comparing speed tests, you can see if a particular gateway has some bearing on the results. I know that my results vary a lot by gateway.

it was fixed but its happening again - 11.41 down 20.29 up...apparently I was on the wrong Vlan before in the exchange?? please can this be checked?
