Finally, on Thursday, my new fibre connection was activated. However, although the OpenReach modem had a flashing green light to say the fibre connection was made it did not switch to a solid signal to show I could use it. The Open Reach engineer raised a ticket and it is with Century 21 to sort out. But that was over 2 days ago. Evidently this also happened to the previous installation the engineer did. Has anyone else had these problems with a new installation.
