Started to experience very slow FTTP speeds
1/2mbit down
5mbit up.
Is this is a network issue?

Your line profile was set incorrectly at our side. Should be OK now.

Further Information,
Have performed a visual inspection of fibre cable to the splice point with no visual sign of damage. Checked all internal connections and swapped out to new Cat 5e cables between NTE & Router. Reset NTE and router.
Implemented backup to EE4G connectivity via Router and performed speedtest again to check for rogue downloads/updates and also rule out any issues with configuration with router network. Speedtests performed over LTE came back with a consistent 60mbps which is to be expected from LTE backup.
Call placed to Customer Service revealed little the way they could check in terms of tooling for diagnostics.
Awaiting call back

Spoke to a customer service adviser called Joe, who was most helpful and spotted this issue. Can confirm after a NTE reset that the line is synced at the correct rates.
Joe has advised me that this profile was incorrectly set on the 5th as a part of other account changes made during that time.
