Progress on order 118744768

Hi,

Can someone give me an update on the progress of ticket  118744768 ?

The internal appointment was cancelled because a fault was detected on the line - this was supposed to have been fixed by 10th May, but I haven't heard anything since.

Looking at BT's DSL status checker, I see the following message:

There is currently a Broadband cease pending or in progress against this line. This cease is due to complete by 27th May 2016.

Is there any risk I will lose ADSL on Friday even if FTTP isn't up & running?

Thanks

Rob

Re: Progress on order 118744768

Hi Rob,

Sorry about the lack of updates, had a few days off so catching up on the FTTP queries now. Still now word from the FRAC team so I've raised our escalation higher, the general consensus between us and Openreach is it's the 2 engineers who have the task that are not providing updates and they are proving very hard to get hold of, but we will keep trying until we get somewhere, as soonas  I hear more you'll be the first to know

So do I need to worry about the ADSL cease that's pending?

Edit: I almost cancelled the cease but in hindsight it can be left as is, the cease is on the current ADSL asset as it's been migrated to the newer network, won't affect the service and the FTTP will continue as is

Has there been any more progress on this?

Hi Rob, I wasn't able to pick this one up today, but I'll make sure I get you an update as soon as I'm in tomorrow if someone else hasn't already.

Re: Progress on order 118744768

Hi,

Progress on this seems to have stalled again - is anyone looking at the FTTP tickets?

I replied to your last update on the ticket on 5th August, but there's been no update since then and as far as I can tell, there's been no action by OpenReach since the 29th July when they decided they didn't need to send an engineer after all.
