Plusnet lays its own fibre?

I have just been talking to Customer Services about getting  Plusnet Fibre. He told me that Plusnet lay fibres in parallel with the BT fibres. This is totally unbelievable. They would have to blow fibre from the cabinet  every time they got a new user .
Iws told that Plusnet are still only trialing fibre and I would have to apply to join. I may as well go to BT and get FTTP immediatly.

Whut?  You've been told a load of nonsense there.  Sorry.
We don't currently have a for sale FTTP product but are running trials.  We could arrange for you to join the FTTP trial but it would be under trial terms and conditions.  Let us know if you are interested and we can advance it.

Re: Plusnet lays its own fibre?

Hi Salopian,
Mind dropping me a PM with the username you gave when you made the call and roughly what time that was please I'd like to try and trace that back so some feedback can be passed on, the account details that your community username link to don't seem show that we've looked at the account recently.
Thanks.
