Plusnet FTTP router setup - static routes

Hi

My nice new FTTP broadband is up and running I am glad to say and I am just trying to setup the router. I can't find how to setup static routes, can someone help.

Also it would be useful to know what router it is based on. The FTTP FAQ [1] says it is a Technicolor TG582n but I don't think that is correct.

I searched the forum but could not find anything relevant to the FTTP router.

Re: Plusnet FTTP router setup - static routes

Apologies, please disregard my response (now edited).

I can see you've managed to connect up, I'm not sure how/if static route can be set on the Plusnet Hub One router I'm afraid, what are you trying to achieve?

Re: Plusnet FTTP router setup - static routes

Hi Chris

Thanks for helping. For example I run a VPN server so I can connect into my network when away. To configure that I need to be able to route 10.8.0.0/24 to my vpn server (192.168.1.83).

Re: Plusnet FTTP router setup - static routes

Can't help with static IP or VPN but the following PlusNet support pages may help with your router.

Re: Plusnet FTTP router setup - static routes

Hi Brian

Thanks for the suggestions, but I am trying to setup a static route, not a static IP.  I have looked at those links again and I don't think there are any references to static routes there.
