New on FTTC trai and just lost phone

I just raised a phone line fault as Ticket #36611680 -
First I'm not sure if this is connected with the fact that a week last Friday we were connected on the FTTC trial. Everything was fine until today when sometime after 10.30am the phone line went dead - no dial tone. Broadband continues to work.. People can ring the house phone and hear it ringing and can leave a message but in the house there is no sound and no dial tone.
We have tried unplugging the phones and only plugging into the new master socket but it still does not work. Our neighbour's, on the same cabinet /exchange, phone is still working. We tried checking the master socket inside the new BT master socket but still does not work.
Is it possible this is related to the trial?

Hi,
It's possible it's related but as it worked fine between the engineer leaving and yesterday morning I'd say probably not and more likely a separate phone fault. The fault guys will run some testing and get it raised for you.

Thanks for the reply Dave.  I haven't heard anything from the question I raised yesterday on the phone fault.    Hope your push gets things underway.

I presume you are with Plusnet for your phone as well as for your broadband?
