i've read with interest the problems that some of the plusnet customers have received during the set up of the fibre trial, particularly the first visit when the engineer should ensure that the system works. I've got an engineer here on the 3rd Nov and it would be good if I could give him/her a list of whats expected during the visit. I think this would be useful. Any thoughts? kel
I think the key point is: do not allow him to leave until everything is working! For this to happen, you need to make sure that your half of the setup is ready for when he gets here - have your router setup with PPPoE configured and passwords entered so that all you need to do is plug the modem into the router.
