LOS red light - Holmes Chapel,Cheshire

Hello,
Our openreach box (not router) has a solid red LOS light. Can anyone tell me what this means and if I can fix it?

Yes, I'm afraid so. Our broadband is down completely. I reported it to plusnet yesterday and they confirmed that there seems to be a fault but obviously the person I spoke to knows nothing about fttp so I'm not sure what happens next or how long it will take to fix.

Sorry to hear that.

With the nature of FTTP provisions there's very little we can control from our side, so it'd be best for us to progress an engineer appointment. Are you ok to reply to the ticket here for me?
