I had a call this morning from CCN Communications ( [Removed]) who do sub contact work for BT. They will be coming to my property on the 9th October to install a small joint box in the road and a duct running from this box to my property. There is no requirement to close the road.

Thanks for getting in touch regarding your installation.
I am glad that you have been given a date for this external work to be completed, I would advise that any information we provide regarding the order is cascaded through our suppliers as a result of surveys which is why we advised that the road closure is required.
If the sub contractor has advised you differently then this may be as a result of the location of the box may meet their safe practice without closure. As it stands we have not been given any update to that effect from our suppliers.

For information, the external work including the duct work was completed on 9 October. The duct and a blue pull through rope terminates at my house. No Fibre cable has been run in the duct yet so I assume this will be the next stage.
I will await your response from the supplier.

A blue pull rope in place is a very good sign!!!
Assuming you're on a " connectorised " install one end of the fibre cable will have a factory installed connection so only the house end needs "fused" on the day - should now be an easy job to run the cable, get it into your house and the ONT deployed (famous last words!!!).

Could a PN staff member please chase up the FTTP order update please with OR. No update has been given on my ticket number #178327433. As I have mentioned earlier all the external work has been completed ( 9 Oct) and the duct is ready to receive the FTTP cable and then ONT installation. Thank you.
