Getting on the trial asap for new customer

I've signed up with Plusnet in order to get on the FTTP trial and have just received an activation date of 20 February.
Do I need to wait until I'm activated before I order FTTP..?
Also, are any other speed options available, apart from the ones listed at http://trials.plus.net/ ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Getting on the trial asap for new customer

Hi
You have to wait for your ADSL to go active before they can place the FTTP order. The installation will take place in two parts - the external work (feeding the fibre tubing to your property from the nearest node, installing a fibre termination point and blowing the fibre) and the internal work (splicing the fibre connection, installing the ONT and checking there is activity on your line).
You'll have to speak to someone at PN about the speeds on offer. A lot of the existing products change in June, so hopefully PN will be launching more speed variants then.
