FTTPoD - What's Going On?

Evening,
All of a sudden FTTPoD has popped up on my BTW Checker result?
Other Offerings
FTTP on Demand 330 30 -- Available
I thought the whole thing was canned? Can anyone shed any light?
Cheers
Matt

Re: FTTPoD - What's Going On?

It's always been on mine, not that means very much, a little like the often inaccurate speed estimates IMO  It was sometime ago suspended by BTO  And until they release some updated info  such as new pricing ect for it, i wouldn't worry yourself over it , not only this how many suppliers can provide  300/30 speeds  as that according to what info was in the public domain was the only speeds offered with that product,

It was never suspended by Openreach as far as I'm aware.

I suspect that AndyH's unhelpful and pedantic reply was alluding to it being BT Wholesale that suspending selling FTTPoD, not BT Openreach...

Re: FTTPoD - What's Going On?

In what way is it pedantic or unhelpful?
Openreach provide FOD (it's their product/service) and they haven't suspended or stopped it, from what I can see. BT Wholesale made their own decision to stop selling it. I've pointed this out to ISPReview twice before and they've failed to differentiate between the two.
When I looked earlier this morning, the stop-sell from BT Wholesale still hadn't been released. So I am taking the ISPReview news with a pinch of salt.
