FTTP trial sign up, second attempt ! Ticket 165812545

Afternoon all,

I have tried to sign up once before but BT hadn't fixed their records yet and didn't show FTTP availability on the DSL checker but it now it shows as available on both checkers.

I have resubmitted another ticket - 165812545 thanks to everyone for the help last time.

I spoke too soon. We're getting the below message when trying to place the order:

FTTP product will be supported in future. Therefore you cannot proceed with the order yet.

Upon checking DSL Checker, the WBC FTTP Availability Date is showing as 10-Jan-18.

I'll check back tomorrow.

Morning all,

Well my install got bumped up by some helpful people at Plusnet and happened this morning.

Sadly it’s not working, the pon light is continually flashing. The engineer thinks it may be a config or routing error but was struggling to get through to his network team so has gone off to another job and promised to return. Close but no cigar ! (Yet)

Hi, i have just posted an update to my ticket. I was originally getting the 70Mb download rate 2-3 weeks ago but I got a random email from my ticket a few days back telling me it was now complete. Since then I have only been getting 30Mb max. I’m wondering if I’ve been put on the fibre product and not the extra product ? If someone could check that would be amazing. Thank you.

You can check which package you're on by looking at your PlusNet Members page. Login and then look at View my Detail. One or more of the pages will tell you what's what.

Thank you, that’s very helpful. It does say I’m on the extra product as it happens.
I wonder why it’s more than halved in speed since it was installed.
