Perhaps part of the reason for the BT inertia on FTTP are the bloated fees currently charged for existing fibre/coax dedicated business internet access. I often have BT sales people calling and offering an "excellent price" for a mere 5 year commitment.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Cheesy  Wow, my exchange is one to be included in the trial! 
I'm definitely interested in participating: and given my home is both close to and ducted directly to the cabinet I would expect the installation costs to be at the lower-end of the scale.  I just wish I knew what that scale was!
