FTTP availability

Hi,

We're current PlusNet ADSL customers. Work has been done on installing FTTP in the area and a neighbour has recently been connected. We have fibre kit on the pole at the end of the drive and the neighbour says there are spare connections available. However, the DSL checker shows he can get FTTP but we can't. What's the best way of moving this along with a view to getting on the FTTP trial? FTTC is not an option in our village.

Thanks

@MrSoapsud

Welcome to the forums.

I had a similar situation to yourself many years ago. It took a year to get it sorted.

The answer was to keep asking Plusnet but also to supply them with all the data to get the Openreach database changed. I mapped out all the properties around mine to show that they could all order but I alone could not. ( I mapped out properties on either side and across from me to show that my address should be on the database too).

Good luck
