Hi Gandalf, I am free to start testing just now.
As I don't experience the fault at my end (Phone works, internet working no noise on the line) it will need you chaps to re test at each stage.

Hi Dave,
That's cool. So far we've tested under the following conditions, let me know if I've got anything wrong.
Everything setup as normal - Loop fault
Modem plugged into test socket with microfilter - Line is clear
Faceplate back on with extensions disconnected - Loop fault
Can you connect all your equipment into the test socket? This should just take the faceplate out of the equation.

Hi Dave,
Unfortunately we're still seeing that loop fault again, I suspect the additional equipment you've got into the filter may be causing it. Can you disconnect the phone doubler and alarm, putting your phone handset directly into the microfilter?

Thanks Dave,
Sorry about the delay there, the loop fault is still present.
Before concluding it's your phone handset, could you disconnect that from the filter? I'll then retest your line again.

Could I ask you to test one last time, I have removed the call blocker and put the phone direct to the filter. That way i know it is either definitely the phone or the call blocker
