FTTC installed today

BT technician arrived at 0840hrs and installed RJ11 extension lead from upgraded master socket to remote connection in bedroom and terminated it in a RJ11 presention outlet. Was thinking that they would run a CAT5e extension but hey ho. I was offered the chance to use existing internal extension but gave that a by ball.
They thought I was BT Infinity and had a BT Home Hub so explained the situation and that it was a stand alone router.(guess they don't get many Plusnetters here ;))
Took about 1h30m from arrival to subsequent test of ADSL cct and phone extension checks (17070 option 1)
Now getting a healthy 34.5Mbps and 8.2Mbps d/l // u/l
Netgear router supplied by Plusnet WNR1000V3 arrived yesterday and works well with nice features. The guide by Dave Tomlison was a nice touch Smiley
Thanks for the chance to try this out and the router Plusnet and will monitor how it goes.
