Re: FTTC download speed slow in evening (and now most of the time)

When doing speed tests I would try n use different servers/services as I have found depending on congestion they can give different restults

Yes I have noticed this variance as well. However the acid test is the BT speedtest and especially their test 3 when you are not connected to your ISP.  Something on the BTW side up here is suffering from contention and there are only 2 Users on my cabinet at present.

Re: FTTC download speed slow in evening (and now most of the time)

Did the full BT speed test this morning including Test 3
Still appears to be a problem with even the BT part of the FTTC here.

>Download speedachieved during the test was - 8842 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 12000-28347 Kbps .
 Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is -28347 Kbps
>Upload speed achieved during the test was - 8032 Kbps
 Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 10000 Kbps

Your service was found to be performing poorly.
Please raise a fault with your service provider, stating that the BT Performance Tester tool indicates poor service throughput performance after the third test.
