Hi can someone let me know that the last question I asked to Paul Tarr has been actioned. And also in there any news on when the external work will be taking place

Hi is there any further news on completion date. Paul Tarr communicated Hoping for the 6th April is this still on, plus when is the external working looking to be completed

The order is showing committed for 06/04/16, however it's not showing the external visit date...
I'll give our suppliers a call tomorrow to find out what's happening with that for you.

Openreach came out yesterday  and have put a box on the side of the house, no cable attached, guessing they need to come back to run fibre cable from 50 yards away, any updates would be great

Putting the box on the side of the house sounds like they may have done the external installation.
I don't start work until 11:30 today and unfortunately I can't guarantee it will be the first thing I pick up, but I'll get further updates later today Smiley

Hi Harry
Where the fibre cable is currently it needs to run to another pole then to my house, there are no extra cables currently coming from my pole. There are no cables into the new box, so I'm guessing they are coming back ????

Just got off the phone with our suppliers.
They've confirmed that part of the external work has been completed, however 2 engineers will be required to complete the outstanding external work. We've been asked to check back around Thursday next week (Feel free to give me a nudge via the forums if you've not heard anything back) for confirmation that this has been completed.
Due to the outstanding work, I've got to advise that the appointment for 06/04/16 is dependant on the rest of the external work being completed.

I've marked that to be sent now, we always have to advise 3-5 working days for delivery, however they're sent 1st class post and usually arrive sooner Wink

Router has arrived, just need Openreach to connect final bit to house. If you hear anything about when and hopefully this week plse let me know

Hi Harry
Gutted, Openreach came out today and connected all the cabling, found a fault, took all the cabling down, put in new cabling continued to find fault, they don't know what the fault is, now gone back to Openreach to send other engineers to find problem.
Please can you chase up when this is looking to the place.
So close, but so far
