wifi drops out and old firmware version

I refer to my earlier comments on your forum at:

No one has contacted me since Friday.  The problems persist.

It's now Friday evening (30 November).  Nothing appears to have changed.  Can someone do something please?

Still no-one has contacted me.  Can you pass this on to the "team" you referred to before, even tell me who they were?

Still my hub manager homepage says :

Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.237.2.2 | Last updated 15/08/17

Still my wifi drops out.

Would the latest firmware help? Can you update it anyway?

Thanks, it does seem a bit better.  I have now got a super long length of ethernet cable, which will hopefully help as well,  but it still dropped out last night (Monday).  

 

The hub manager still shows:

Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.237.2.2 | Last updated 15/08/17.

Hi Andy.

I've flagged that to our products guys to look into this further.

Due to a temporary issue with the hardware management system affecting our ability to manually push firmware updates out, I'd allow around a week for the request to be actioned. Can you let us know how things look this time next week?

Nothing seems to have changed.  As stated in my last message, I have run an ethernet cable that now gives a reasonable signal.  However the hub still shows the old firmware version, as above.  Is anything going to be done about it?

Hi @Andy9, I've checked the firmware request and it looks like it was upgraded 6 days ago. Checking the connection, it looks like DLM may have adjusted the banding on your connection yesterday.

 

Please could you report the speed issues you're experiencing over at https://faults.plus.net and let us know once you've done this so we can get this raised with our suppliers for further investigation.
