Re: web safe filtering

There shouldn't be unless switched on at sign up. What does this page say for you?

Re: web safe filtering

Thanks for clarifying. There shouldn't be any filtering in that case.

Re: web safe filtering

I think PNet have to abide by UK court orders - so torrent sites and TehParadox, for example, will be blocked. *cough* TOR browser * cough*

Re: web safe filtering

Afaik they haven't been mentioned in any court orders, but as a result of using the bt network blocking occurs anyway.

Yes... Grrrr.. I like TehParadox - not for anything shady but it's a nice forum community for helpdesk and off topic. Tor works but it's a little slow and you sometimes need to "New Identity". So.. TP is accessible direct with PNet then? Can you try it for me: http://tehparadox.com/

Re: web safe filtering

Access to the websites listed on this page has been blocked pursuant to orders of the high court.

Re: web safe filtering

So PNet has to block them via the court order too.. If I remember the story when it came out, there's only one UK ISP that refused to block them, forgot the name though, dunno if it's still going. Tor still works though, hopefully TOR will work on PNet too. Money buys judges..
