tg582

My adsl2+ service is due to be upgraded to fibre on 1st December and I am awaiting the arrival of the hub zero /2704 router for which I have paid the postage. I discover the tg582 which is in service as my router now can also be used on fibre but probably needs a firmware upgrade to make port 1 available as a WAN. Can this be done on line or do I have to download the firmware myself?  I'm happy to use the 2704 (I hope!) but a spare router is never a bad thing.

Re: tg582

I believe the CRT can upgrade the firmware remotely if you want or you can do it yourself via the link here  http://products.plus-payh.co.uk/firmware/ ;   where the update tool, guide and firmware can be found.

Re: tg582

Bad news is as an existing customer you will get the 2704, which is little if any better than the tg582.
