terrible fibre

hi, I was with bt for 3+ years with no problems decided to change to plusnet  and now having nothing but trouble only connected 2 weeks ago on 38 mbps as speed was slow I upped it no 60-80 but that has made it worse I'm now barely getting 9-22 mbps my phone line is no longer perfect now waiting for I guess openreach to get in touch. all I want now is to cancel and go back to bt or another company , plusnet in my view are [-Censored-].

Contact support I suspect your still on a 40-10 line, they will be able to check and rectify the problem ASAP if this is the case.

yes I will do, but I've just done the recommended speed test and it shows 17.27  down 8.79 up ping 20 done another and its 16.86, 7.77, 40.13

If you have a noisy phone line then you will need to get that fixed before your broadband will improve.

Tests have confirmed a fault with your line so I've reported that with Openreach and have added details to ticket 167385145 for you.
