speedchecker reports 35mb but streaming services consistently drop out

Hi,

I have just upgraded to Plusnet's fibre (from another provider's standard connection).  Everything about my internet setup ( including router placement, streaming service placement etc) has remained the same between the two ISPs.

However, since upgrading to Plusnet's fibre 10 days ago I am unable to watch streaming services without them regularly significantly pixelating or buffering entirely.  This did not happen on my old connection, despite that being a 17mb connection.

Whenever I check on ookla / BTW I am told my connection is 35mb.

Could you please help and take a look why the connection keeps seeming to drop out?

Or if any others have any suggestions on how to resolve the issue.

Thank you very much,

Robert

@holloway_user Are you doing the speed test and streaming on the same device (obviously not at the same time), that is, comparing like for like? This looks like it may be a wireless issue - are you using wireless for both tasks?
