Hi,
I had a engineer out about 6 weeks ago and is advice was to get a new router, so i got a nighthawk D7000v2 and everything was back to normal after the visit, But my speed is dropping again,
Done all the tests, test socket etc. reset router,
Fixed! Go to the fix.

Thanks for your post, @Jay61.
We've checked the line and are showing that the router is currently in sync at around 57mbps, with no drops in connection since around 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
Can you confirm the speeds you're seeing via your wired connections?

Hi thanks for getting back to me. The test report from the engineer showed a sync at 73mbps with no errors,, the engineer left me with 67mbps after the engineer visit,, then it started to drop again to 55mbps now its at 48mbps to 50mbps. i have tested the speed via the test socket and its a wired connection to my pc.

Looks like the line has banded down to a max of 60Mbps. I've passed it to BT Wholesale to reset the banding profile fo 80/20. I think that's what's reducing your sync down. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know once it's completed.

The banding has finally reset but it doesn't look like your speed has increased from the performance tests logged on your line. Can you update the ticket with some availability and I'll book it out for you (why the agent didn't do that when you spoke to them, I cannot explain).
