hi folks since the bad weather my speeds have dropped nearlly 15 meg over night and my pings have increased from 1 to 22 ms
current stats
6. Data Rate: 20000 / 64229
7. Maximum Data Rate: 20826 / 79292
8. Noise Margin: 6.5 / 6.2
9. Line Attenuation: 17.0 / 14.1
when i turn router off and on it just comes back up at 64 meg
i usually get the full 80 or 76 meg
im sure dlm has kicked in now but why has the weather changed this so much ?

Hi there,
It may be that there's an issue with a joint somewhere in the line where water ingress might be having an effect.
Assuming that you have a phone handset plugged in do you hear any noise?

customer and tech support sucks on plusnet noone helping and this community certainly dont help what a waste of time raised tickets to and noone helps what a joke this all is
im glad virgin media is being laid so will be changing over to that when it goes live

3 power cuts in a row where i live and my router was on for nearly 19 days without a drop out
it came back on after 3 power cuts in a row in the area i live in and my stats are

so went up but the maximum data rate hasnt but the data rate has weird
