PlusNet is gone bananas?
Wanted to call them yesterday at 18:30 but on their Customer Support was 07:00am - 06.00pm, every.
And this morning checked it again to call it changed to
07:30am - 10.00pm, every. And I called “0804320200” at 07:35am and it was the answer machine “our customer support is now closed you can call us between 08:00am and 08:00pm” what is this?🙄

You should have called 0800 432 0200 you may have had more luck.
Is there a point to this thread?
Seems DLM is doing its thing - not PN, no doubt as a result of the wind and rain on outside wires and joints.

@ecrTech Looks like your line is banded (i.e. capped at lower fixed speeds) on both Downstream and Upstream. SNR margins should be around 6dB or sometimes lower on downstream. You need to ask Plusnet to put in a request to their "supplier" for a DLM reset which will remove the banding.

@RealAleMadrid Hi thanks, “line noisy and Slow internet speed and distance” my understanding is that the line attenuation if its good or bad should be like this in dB
20dB and below is outstanding
20dB – 30dB is excellent
30dB – 40dB is very good
40dB – 50db is OK
50dB and above is bad
And SNR margin if its good or bad should be like this in dB
10dB and below is bad
11db – 20dB is OK
20dB – 28dB is excellent
29dB and above is outstanding
And about the SNR margin you said 6dB and lower on downstream.
My SNR margin Upstream used to be 6.1 to 6.7 (6.6 to 7.4 Mbps) and my downstream used to be 9.7 to 10.7 (30.9 to 35.6 Mbps) and now my new modem router is showing what I posted. And in the beginning 14days of my contract I was connected and Upstream 7.6 to 7.9 Mbps and on the 15th day it went to 8.4 Mbps and Downstream 35.6 to 37.4 Mbps and on the 15th day it went to 31.2 Mbps.
