upload speed normal but download a lot less than the 34 that is normal speed

speed gone up to 30 since did test this morning from 18

why are the wire lan port 1 going up and down loads of times so changed cable to wire lan port 2 and so far only done it 5 times.

would this be affecting my download speed?

getting sick of this so tried another Ethernet cable and in a different port on router but still no speed increase.

so dug out and old bt usb wifi and the download speed was 30.

must be something wrong with the cable connections on router or on computer?

last night switched router off and switched back on now and the speed is back up.

hopefully that fixed it
