Can you try changing the wireless channel (http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/technicolor-582n-wireless.shtml) and see if that makes a difference?

A neighbour near you will be using the same channel which is causing interference. There are some wireless scanning software tools out there you can use to see which channels are being used/free etc.

Do you know a name of any of the scanning software? As it would be a great help

Assuming you're on a Windows machine, try this - https://www.acrylicwifi.com/en/wlan-software/wlan-scanner-acrylic-wifi-free/ Not used it personally but seen it recommended before.

Hello, I've been using "WiFi Analyser" on my Android tablet; it's free to download and use and it's helped me to improve my signal.  One advantage of using the mobile version is that you can carry it around the house to check the signal in different places.

I finally got around to bouncing my connection. I'm now on pcl-ag07 and single threaded speeds are a lot better. Someone at PN should take a look at pcl-bng04.

I have found 20 posts with same thing reported by unique posters in a 10 minute period searching on here, clearly something is amiss.

This thread seems to have died off but the slight degradations since Jan 1 are still there.
I was looking as somebody on another board talking about their latency. Now not being a gamer I'm not overly concerned about mine but when I checked my SamKnows I see that took a turn for the worse from January 1st on compared to 2014.....

It's a great shame and rather suspicious that Plusnet staff seem to be avoiding making any comments here.
