@Browni, I think you might be looking at something else.
You're pulling 25mbps+ on a single thread, rather than the 2-3mbps others were been seeing. Possibly something congestion-related. Is it worse during the busier hours? i.e. 5pm-Midnight?

Hi Bob whilst it no longer starts off at 1-2Mb as before throughput is now struggling to hit the top end i'm seeing anything from 25-35Mb on a single thread even multi-thread is struggling it seems my connection was reliant on the links that were turned off any idea when thy will come back into play I would rather have the previous problem than the one I have now.

I only noticed it yesterday @bobpullen so a bit early to spot any patterns.
I've just done a gateway hop and everything is back to normal

That shouldn't be the case. There's plenty of capacity across the remaining links and your traffic won't have been 'pinned' to an individual link anyway.

Thanks for the reply Bob, it;s a strange one, I don't see how all of a sudden i'm unable to max my throughput nothing changed other than those links being disabled maybe the routing across the other links isn't as optimised as it was with the other links enabled ? they clearly effect something other wise why bother disabling them in the first place.

Just for info. (over wifi)
No change here before or after, still no large drops or loss. I'll hang fire on the firmware I'm using though just out of curiosity.

Thanks again for the reply Bob, that does make sense, seems today all is back to normal I'm getting max throughput maybe it just needed settling down or something.

Interesting read. I've seen a decline in my upload speed over the past couple of weeks. Usually my upload speed is around 18/19Mb whereas lately its come down to about 16Mb but at times, is much worse. Sometimes on TBB speedtest the graphs are bad too. My download speeds though are about par for the course (no complaints there), indeed I see DLM has been increasing it upwards of late.
I've got a Jack Dinns Auto Speed tester on the go.The upload speed tests are very strange though, sometimes its reasonably fine, sometimes it is bad. Just doesn't make sense. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

@idonno, your latency is bad on that left-side think broadband test. Are these speedtests wired or wireless and are you sure there's negligible other activity on the line when the tests are run?
For info, your traffic routes across a different part of the network to the issue I referenced here so whatever you're seeing, it isn't related.

Been running my test cases and still good so marked as fixed.
For others still with issues - the symptoms don't really match what I saw and repeatedly tested, in that:
Upload wasn't affected.
If a connection was bad it was very consistent speed (well loss) wise. To London this resulted in 2mbit average, to further away lower.
There was never a test I did that changed speeds with peak/off peak or gave any significant speed variation over the life of the bad tcp connection.
