i have had slow page loading , BBC news continuous buffering so did a speed test , with some weird results

That looks like the results from being on a bad gateway which formed the basis of the  2 very long running threads "Capacity Issues"  and "Further Capacity Issues" in this very forum.

Yep those gateways are a pain in the backside. 
Still gets me when my connection is reset by exchange work or other actions.

I had one of those earlier in the year (first in several months). It's not happened again though. PN's last comment was that they didn't know if they'd fixed all the causes so it appears not. But at least for me it's a rare event. My line stays up for weeks and even months at a time but on at least two occasions I suffered the issue without any connection drop reported by my router nor showing in my TBBQM. Whatever changed must have been inside PN's or BTw's network.

I hadn't noticed any problems but then had a look at my BQM graph and from 8.0pm yesterday I have had low level packet loss
