nook hd+ wi fi problem

I have recently changed to plusnet from TalkTalk..
Our Phones and our Ipad are connecting through wi fi no problem, but my nook hd+ keeps on saying that signal is very poor and wont connect. I had no problems at all with the other router whilst I was on talk talk.
Could I use my old Talk Talk router and put Plusnet details in to it, if so what are the settings?
Forgot to add, my Nook HD+ is sitting 2 feet away from my Sagemcom router and signal strength is poor

in theory yes, but it will need some reconfiguration as from what I remember TT use dhcp rather than pppoe on the wan interface (or at least they did on mine). Therefore you need to set the wan interface to pppoe mode and add your user details
