no internet service for last 24 hours in barnsley

No internet connection in MONK BRETTON area of Barnsley since yesterday afternoon . Have done all the usual Plusnet checks as advised on the help section , phone  works , but router has the red light on permenently . Have re- booted , disconnected , re- connected   etc . No improvement . please advise Mr Plusnet
