intermittent connection

Just joined plusnet from sky 7 days ago. Since then my broadband connection has been awful. 24 hrs on 72 hrs off 48hrs on 8 hrs off 12 hrs back on and now off again. Is this normal. I have reported it and they want to send out an engineer but connection is on off like a tap. I never had any connection issues with sky so this is really frustrating me. Is this usual when you first join?

I have been having similar issues try a static IP address on one PC and choose a different DNS perhaps 8.8.8.8 google

I have found there are currently issues with the plusher DNS and if you have a plusher router its locked.

Nope this is not normal there is clearly something wrong here and sending an engineer out is going to be the best option.

See how the visit goes and if your still having problems post back and one of the Plusnet staff will be able to look into it for you
