high packet loss/ping in games

Im not really sure what to say but ive been getting high ping in gaming and decided to check ping tests and this is what i got tried talking to plusnet support but got we dont do ping/packet loss tests

Hi there.

From that trace route you've done, it doesn't look like you're getting past the router.

Is your computer wired to the router or using WiFi? Also, have you tried a factory reset of the router?

I've reset router and can now see ip of 2nd hop and it's fine no packet loss high ping about 300 but the 3rd hop still 75-100% packet loss

Is this over a wired or wireless connection?

We need to know that to progress the issue further.

It's a wireless in the same room as router

Tried wired same hops same packet loss had a friend ping the hops im having issues with and they said it's time outs
