help please

I hope I can ask my question here?  I rebooted my  Router a few hours ago as although my Chromebook said I was connected, nothing would load. After the reboot I  was able to load facebook and a few other sites, but y  Google browser is not loading and nor is youtube. Could the Router be at fault here? Why are some sites loading and others not. Iam at a bit of a loss, the same is happening with my tablets. I would appreciate any help please.

Try typing your website into http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
(That's assuming you can get into that website!)

It would be very unusual for only a few sites to load.
How about trying https://duckduckgo.com/ - its a great search page for a browser.
Try some big UK web sites - such as the BBC or http://www.theguardian.com/uk

Your browsers work but i cant sign into facebook, youtube wont load and play.com will try and download but only manages for a few seconds then tells me it cant download my app?

Have you tried Plusnet at http://www.plus.net/help/?home=helptop
That's a text box method of reporting and possibly fixing a fault.

I have rebooted my Router again and this time it seems all is back to normal. I have no idea what happened but am just happy to be up and running again!. Thanks to all who helped, much appreciated

As I posted above - I think you had the dodgy gateway/Google cache problem
It is a pity you couldn't have posted the tracert before rebooting
