Hi @andytay,
I've run a GEA test on your line and the test hasn't picked up any issues and indicates that your line is currently syncing at the full 40mbps down and 10mbps up. Please let us know if you're still experiencing problems with the connection on your side.

The BT speed test has been changed recently and they have not got it working properly yet. Particularly the upload speed reported is much lower than the actual speed. Try some other speed testers.

Hi @andytay
Can you confirm that this is connected to the main socket in your property and not an extension? Looking at the tests from our side everything is looking fine. Can you please follow the steps to raise this at http://faults.plus.net and let us know when you have done this so we can escalate this for you.

Hi
I can confirm this is connected to the main BT-Openreach master socket and not on an extension.

Hello @andytay,
Thanks for getting in touch. I have a checked your connection and there definitely seems to be something out of place somewhere as we can see more errors on your line than we would like. Although our tests aren't picking up exactly what's causing the issue so we will have to do some troubleshooting to start ruling things out.
I'd recommend starting with basic checks here,
And if that doesn't help the next thing would be to rule your internal wiring out by plugging the connection into your test socket which is under the faceplate of your master socket and seeing if the drops stop. This rules out internal wiring, face plates and extension sockets as being the cause. How to locate the test socket and set your connection into it can be found here:
https://community.plus.net/t5/Library/Testing-From-The-Master-Socket/ba-p/1322242
Once here please run a speed test over a wired connection and if the speed is still below estimates
Sammy

I can see that it has held up since the 4 drops and we have seen no further drops on the line. How is the performance holding up from your side now?
