PS today at 12 ish i powered off Bt modem & netgear router
i also have just checked router is set to Always ON ! and not to turn off when idle

Sorry to see there's a dropping connection issue now, rest assured this won't be related to the gateways but it's quite normal to see a change from one to the other when disconnections occur.
Bear with us and the faults team will be getting back to you on ticket 92837622 soon.

Hi goatty2,
Your connection was really bad around 6pm on Saturday. It's possible it was something to do with the outage. However, since then it seems to have settled down. If it continues to drop, I recommend raising a fault as rongtw has.

had a 6 gateway changes since the 13/11/14 and did a speed test this morn

speed has eventually gone back to what it was ages ago
did bt test just to check

The gateway changes match the number of disconnections we've seen in that period.
Those speeds are looking better than some of the previous ones in this thread, let us know if you've got any questions we can help with.
