hi,
Is there anything specific i need to do to ensure a problem-free ftp connection to my websites?
I have spoken with my host and they believe it a problem with Filezilla or the connection.
I have set-up a ping-t to my host which remains stable although in their logs they are seeing:
May 17 21:16:33 gsh24 pure-ftpd: (mywebsite@x.x.x.x) [INFO] Logout.
May 17 21:16:33 gsh24 pure-ftpd: (?@X.X.X.X) [INFO] New connection from X.X.X.X
May 17 21:16:53 gsh24 pure-ftpd: (?@x.x.x.x) [INFO] Logout.
May 17 21:16:53 gsh24 pure-ftpd: (?@x.x.x.x) [INFO] New connection from X.X.X.X
May 17 21:17:13 gsh24 pure-ftpd: (?@x.x.x.x) [INFO] Logout.
May 17 21:17:13 gsh24 pure-ftpd: (?@x.x.x.x) [INFO] New connection from X.X.X.X
May 17 21:17:33 gsh24 pure-ftpd: (?@x.x.x.x) [INFO] Logout.
Error inside Filezilla:
"ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted"
Thanks for reading!
Fixed! Go to the fix.

hi.
hope you are well.
Any suggestions on this? I have seen another thread and checked the Plusnet Firewall within the member centre (and that is off).
Cheers 🍻

Have you tried another FTP client ?
The log doesn't make any sense, pinging a device will not open, or close, an FTP session.
Looks like you were logged in at the time and hit a 20 min inactive timeout..

Thanks @Champnet
I tried WinSCP and it is working fine. The reason i mentioned the ping -t was so i could see if the connection was dropping at just before the error message although it wasn't. My webhost said there were no issues their end.
Thanks for posting.
