fibre profiles question with my account

Estimated line speed:
74Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions. Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support. These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.) - Checked on 2014-12-30 17:35:52
then this
Estimated line speed:
66Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions. Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support. These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.) - Checked on 2014-12-30 17:45:52
and this is my current speed

So why has my profile been dropped in a matter of a few mins ?

Re: fibre profiles question with my account

it may not have done as the estimated line speed is notoriously flakey
the only way to check your profile is via the BT speedtest

Re: fibre profiles question with my account

Hi St3,
That's the estimates rather than the profile for your line. The profile is still at 77.4Mb, hence the speed still being at a high level.

Re: fibre profiles question with my account

BT are known to make changes to their estimates, as they get a clearer idea of what your line is like - and what it considers a "comparable set of lines" to compare it against. They then give your line an estimate range that runs from the 20% to 80% percentiles of that set.
