fibre deals.

Hello, I am trying to upgrade to fibre, but on my upgrade page, the best deal available is £28.99 including line rental, with a estimated speed of 30.9, but if I go onto "open" plus net page, for new subscribers, I can get  the following for £26.99

66Mb Plusnet Unlimited Fibre Extra Broadband
* p/m for 18 months. Includes line rental. Broadband & line rental price fixed for 18 months. No activation fee. £75 Reward Card (prepaid Mastercard) for you to spend online or in the shops

 Why can't I have this deal, as a loyal customer for nearly 20 yrs?

Fix

@pko

I'm afraid that ISPs are like insurance companies and reserve all the decent deals for new customers and hope that those loyal to the company will not notice and/or bother to move on. If you are out of contract it's worth looking up a cheap competitors price then ringing customer services, select the I'm thinking of leaving option and see if they will match the competitors price. They will not negotiate if you quote the Plusnet new customer price as the benchmark.

It's the way of today's world.
