connection slow and unstable

For the last couple of days the connection on my broadband has both been slow and unstable, ranging from around 5Mbps down to 16 Mbps this is versus the 28.1 that I should be getting. I've double checked my wiring in the house, which all seems to be fine. It's unstable to the point I'm having to use the 4g connection on my tablet to even post this... Any advice or suggestions?

Edit: just gained a new symptom with random disconnects

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your connection

There's been a few drops as shown below but it's not majorly intermittent

With regards to the speeds from what we can see you should be getting around 29mbps. Are you testing over a wired or wireless connection?

Tried from both honestly, different Ethernet cables and computers as well, only thing we can't really swap out are the router/open reach modem or the socket.

In that case I'd recommend raising a fault by going here

Once you've done this let us know and we'll get this picked up.

Fault raised (Technically was last night) also a recent speed test (I'd be happy... well at least content with the down at least, if it was actually stable)
