connection problems over the last few weeks?

I've been having some issues with my connection that have surfaced over the last 2 or 3 weeks, issues i've seen in the past, one of which wasn't fixed for nearly 2 years... i'm assuming there was a bug with the cabinet and it wasn't adjusting my sync speed to avoid errors, and then one day it just did.

• router randomly dropping PPPoE connection, event log says this is user requested
• games having erratic lag, anywhere from 50 to 300ms (standard ping is around 20ms to european servers), lag should not be that noticable at the lower end but there is obvious action delay

The last time the second issue happened it was a problem with the colindale gateway, which i'm currently connected to, and took many weeks to fix... can my connection be tested please?

From looking at your account there were a few drops yesterday but it appears to be doing better today.

Are you still seeing issues with the latency?

noticably better today, though a few hiccups, will update if it gets worse
